My radio works fine in my 62, but when I push the signal seek it moves once then blows the fuse. Any ideas?

It may be internal, but I would check power connections for corrosion, especially the radio ground wire between the pass side case to the engine valve cover. Any looseness could cause extra current draw which could pop the fuse. The seek activates a solenoid which surely draws a large current. Also make sure the fuse is correct. IIRC 7.5 amps?
