Guys, feel free to laugh at this question. It sounds completely stupid.
My '58's wide whitewalls are older and somewhat yellowish. The tread on one of them is pretty worn. My spare is brand new but the whitewall is just that: white, not "somewhat yellowish."
Is there any way to "yellowize" my spare so that I can swap it with the worn-tread tire? Having just one sparkling-white whitewall would stick out like a sore thumb, as they say.
I plan on getting new tires in the near future, but I'd like to get full mileage out of these tires first.
Thanks, guys. I realize this is a dumb question.
