Starting a new restoration and looking for a high quality chrome shop. I'm in California, but will will ship to the right place. Any help would be great.

Frank, Paul's is very high quality. They do factory original to full show chrome. Their plating is on NCRS to Pebble Beach, Amelia Island, and Meadowbrook (old name). They also repair and rebuild if necessary.

For all your smaller parts whether they be regular steel or potmetal try M&P Refinishing in Jeannette, PA15644 724-527-6360 Owned by the Kerin Family. Talk to Don Kerin. He's my pal. When I say smaller parts I mean they do just about all kinds of parts except for large bumpers.
I know certain restoration shops from all over the country that send there parts to M&P as their work is top notch all the way. Absolutelly the best material and show chrome. This past year the owners did a seminar for the Pittsburgh Tri State chapter. Yours truely asked them a personal question about their business.
I asked them if it's true that they are the sub contractor for some of the bigger well known plating shops. The owner smiled and put thumbs up.
Now don't go telling everyone.
They also replate some plastics. John

A few years ago on the recomendation of someone on the website, I sent mine to Librandi's in Middletown, Pa. 717-944-9442. They do triple chrome process and I was very pleased with their work. Turn around time then was around 12 weeks.

Frank, There are several people that go to all the swap meets, GoodGuys and large shows on the west coast that will pick up your stuff, take it to east L.A., chrome it and return it to you. The one I've used most is the Bumper Depot (661-274-4400). I've had them do several pieces including the bumpers for my 65 and they do flawless work and you don't have to pay shipping.

They have done excellent work for over 25 years that I know. Call Jeff at 310-397-3800 for a recomendation. He is in Culver City, CA close to LAX Airport, and one of the best restorers in the country.
