Hello,
I'm in the middle of detailing the throttle lever and linkage on my '64 327 conv.. I have 3 questions that don't seem to have answers in the restoration technical "big book". I'm hoping someone out there can help.
1. What is the correct finish on the lever (swivel) support bracket that bolts to the firewall? How about the 2 bolts?
2. Is there supposed to be a gasket or sealer between the support bracket and the firewall?
3. What is the correct finish on the lever under the dash? The book says cadmium or zinc plated. Mine appears to be dull gray in the area between the 2 nylon bushings. Is this the color of zinc plating?
Thanks,
Jeff
