The EXTREMELY popular NCRS Judges Retreat will be held again on February 21-24, 2013 at the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center in Grapevine, Texas. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a truly world-class judges training seminar, featuring one full day of classroom training and one full day of hands-on judging training, working in a real-world judging environment. Student to Instructor ratio will be extremely low and only the most qualified NCRS Senior Judges will be selected as Instructors. Please read on if you wish to apply to be a Student or an Instructor.
Student Information
Participation is limited to 96 students per group and 50 instructors. Registration closes November 1, 2012.The seminar will run from Thursday, February 21 through Sunday, February 24. Our students will be divided into two groups; one group will arrive and check in late in the day Thursday the 21th, and will attend classroom assignments on Friday the 22nd, and will be in the judging hall on Saturday the 23rd. The second group of students will arrive and check in late in the day Friday (the 22nd), attend classes on Saturday (the 23rd), and be in the judging hall on Sunday (the 24th). Each group will have its own welcome reception on its arrival night, and each group will conclude its day in the judging hall with a roundtable discussion of their experiences, questions and issues.You will be awarded 20 NCRS Judging Points for attending this two-day event.
Members who have attended two previous Judging Retreats may attend, but will NOT be awarded any Judging Points for attending.
Only On-Line registrations with credit card and PayPal payments accepted.
Registrations can include a Spouse/Significant Other and Child. Include their names on the registration page per the instructions and pay the registration fee for all attendees. Spouse/Significant Other and Child will be manually added to the Group 1 or Group 2 list. 50 Instructors who are Master Judges with 200 plus Judging points will be selected from the applicant list.Instructors must arrive by 2PM Thursday, February 21. Instructor participation will be from Thursday, February 21 through Sunday, February 24. Instructors will receive a refund for their registration fee.
