    Tach RPMs and transmission shifying

Is it normal for the tach on and 84 Corvette at WOT to go into the yellow caution marks on the tach before shifting?. Does anyone know where the shift points are listed in the FSM( if there listed) and at what speeds the factory stock transmission is suppose to shift at WOT?

As I recall, it is normal, going back to my memory of when I had one new. The only reference I know of might be in the Corvette service manual, and I don't have an '84 version. The PFI engines used a higher shift point.
