    Trunk Cardboard Divider - Bulged

I purchased a bulged cardboard divider for my early 1960 car some time in the early 1990s. At the time I did not need the bulge, but now I do since I installed a power top. The bulge is not deep enough and the switch "paddle" pushed out the cardboard divider. I had to cut a square "window" in the divider to allow the paddle to protrude unrestricted. I am hesitant to purchase a new bulged divider for fear that the bulge is no deeper.

Has any C1 power top owners purchased a current bulged divider? and if so, does the bulge provide clearance for the paddle? I tried to upload a photo of the "window" I cut out, but the system would not upload a 700 kb photo. I have never had a problem uploading a photo.

Joe, don't have a power top, but just got a new trunk divider from Al Knoch with the bulge. If there are any measurements or picture that would help let me know

I just bought one off of Ebay. It was a CC reproduction and the bulge ain't very big. It kinda reminded me of a flat divider that someone left out in the rain and it wrinkled up.

That is what I am afraid of. I am unable to post photos today. I could not post photos yesterday.

Attached (finally) are a couple of photos of the cardboard divider where I cut a window for the switch "paddle" to extend. Now that I have cut the square out of the divider, I am wondering if there would have been enough flex in the cardboard for the paddle to push against the cardboard at least 3/4" without breaking through the cardboard. I will never know now.
