Flomaster v magnaflow

427/390 Yes, a BB, but as BB's go...the runt of the litter. Stock mufflers not "Doing It" for me. I've heard both good and bad about both manufacturers.....I want a "Tuffer" Idle...but don't want a headache on long freeway cruises

If your car is stock, you want N11. If not, both manufactureers make a quality product, and both have different styles for different sounds. I've used both (in other applications) and in general, the Flowmasters had a nice mellow sound, whereas the Magnaflows were louder. There is a video in the archives with a big block with Gardner's N11, and there has been much discussion on the others in the archives.

I tried to get you some links but when I search "Flowmaster" I get too many to list (including the N11 off raod). Search for Flowmaster in the archives.

Thanks Paul. Yes, stock engine so not too much. I want to hear the radio and keep my wife IN the car. Capice?
