Interesting question.

I have seen "originals" listed for as high as $1,500................whereas excellent aftermarket reproductions are $600 +/-.

Obviously though, your geographic location to the vendor is the biggest variable IMHO. Crating and shipping can easily add $300-500 to the cost.........
