Is this N.O.S. Radiator Cap correct for 1958-1960?

The judging manual shows this cap to be correct EXCEPT: the direction arrows on this cap are etched in where the manual shows a picture of the arrows stamped it/recessed.
I have looked at many of the reproductions out there which the different vendors claim are 100% correct reproductions and they also have the etched arrows. I know that just because this cap came out of an original box doesn't mean that the cap wasn't swapped with a repro so I want to get everyones opinion and find out what your thoughts are between this and the one in the book

A few months ago I bought a few used AC caps at a swap meet for $1 each. The 549 7# cap in the photo below has some serious pitting. I believe it is an earlier version then yours. The curved arrows are recessed. It also has a couple of patent numbers that I can not really read very well (something like "2144620" and "2?711??").

The arrow under "Turn Tight" is definitely stamped, not etched or engraved. My assUmption is that the other arrow is stamped as well but it is a bit more difficult to determine by the angle of the light.

It may be a later vintage but I do not think it is a repro. Just my $0.02
