You are going to make me look this up. This is a Sal Carbone or Gary Bosselman question. Both of those guys have seen more 1972 LT1/C60 than I have.

Ed, I'm not familiar T.E.C. I do know that this car has T.C.S. (transmisson controled spark) which functions the way it was designed to. And it is a vacuum advance system which is on the pass. side of the carb. I tested the A/C system again today. After start up and to operating temp. when I engaged the Max A/C it went down 150 rpm. Then for a road test without A/C, after about four miles and two stops, I engaged the max A/C which drew down 3-400 RPM's. From then on every time even with throttle tapping it still was dropping 3-400. It would be good to know if there is an engine idle compensator in the carb on this car for sure. It may need to be replaced if that is the problem. Any advice is very appreciated. Thanks

Les, I would be very surprised if there is a "compensator" internal to your Holley. The question Ed raised is if there is supposed to be an idle compensating solenoid external to the carburetor, and I am just too busy to look in the judging manual to find out.

Terry, thanks for your effort. Is there some place where I can look and do the research?
