    1986 Knockout Key Codes

    Without pulling out lock cylinders, how can you determine the ignition key and the door key key codes to be newly engraved in a blank knockout?
    The Build Sheet in box #2 and box #3 are blank no code numbers typed in.
    I do know its a VAT #15 ignition key.

      Greg,

      Unless you can find someone with a key code book that includes 1986, I think your best bet is take your key to a good locksmith who should have computer software with which to translate the key cuts to the code. Unfortunately, my code books only go up thru 1979.
