After searching the board and looking at the associated photos of known originals, I cannot seem to find agreement on:
1) what type of glue to use for jack board labels,
2) a procedure for applying the glue, and
3) how much "slop" the applied glue should have around and on the labels.
I have a June-built '66.

Here is a collection of the techniques I found:
- 3M clear adhesive
- a spray can of glue that 1st and 2nd graders would use in school. It set up slowly and is water soluble.
- a tube of 3M yellow weatherstrip adhesive. Squeeze out a bit of it and try to thin it out with lacquer thinner. Then brush it on both the back of the label and the area you want to apply it with a cheap solder brush. Dont be neat. The factory certainly wasnt.
- DAP contact cement.
