56 Engine Install-Before or After Paint

My 56 is going for paint in the next few weeks. My original engine is beautiful. Just a little concerned that the body shop will not take the care of my finished engine compartment that I would.

Thoughts?

If the body shop is doing all the body work now with the body on the chassis then I would leave the motor out until after paint. I once painted a car with the body on a finished chassis that had been restored and the paints in the air made a mess of the chassis even tho I had covered the chassis with plastic before I dropped the body onto it.
