    Style Codes.

Does anyone know how to decode the Style Numbers on one of the two metal plates fastened under the Glove Box of my 1967 Corvette? The group of numbers beside "Style" are: E04 66 467. I have been able to find information for the Paint and Trim Codes, but not the Style.....Herb

From Memory, last two are body code. 37 and 37 as I remember, 37 is coupe, 67 is convert.

You are correct William, the numbers 467 and 437 will also appear in the VIN.

E04 is the body build date, probably December 4. 467 is the code for a convetible, but I don't understand the 66. My 67 convertible has 67 in that position for a 1967 car. Is yours a 1966 car?

          Herb -

If you have a '67 convertible, the trim tag year/style should show "67 467"; "66 467" identifies a '66 Corvette. What's stamped on the VIN plate?

John, The VIN Plate is stamped: 194676S110172. Our Title shows that it's a 1967.

That, unfortunately is a 1966 VIN tag. The last number before the S is the model year.
