Working on my 69, built in Jan. 69, which I recently bought from someone who had restored it about 90% of the way, and thought this would be interesting. I have seen some posts asking about Washer Check Valves, and I read where 69 only had all black ones. Well, for what it's worth my 69 I'm finishing up does have two washer check valves as indicated below. One for the wiper washers and one for the headlight washers.
My car is layed out exactly as the schematic below. The black washer check valves are a T, the side nipples are 1/8 " while the center bottom T nipple is 3/16 " diameter. There is one headlight washer hose running down to the driver side headlight from the anti-drip solenoid, and that hose has a check valve hanging there at the end. All that I need there is 1/8 " hose to connect to the washer nozzles on the headlights. Also, what looks like the original headlight washer nozzle hoses are linked with a white T fitting, not a Y fitting as seen below. So, not sure about what is correct there, but it certainly looks original.
I hope this is not a waste of time / space here, just thought it was meaningful.
