San Diego National - July 4th Fireworks Show

Most of you may not know that NCRS National Convention in San Diego had two separate activities on the evening of July 4th. You could choose to be in a ballroom of the host hotel or choose the Fireworks Extravaganza down at the beach. Since I had a car that was Flight-judged, you can pretty much tell which one I chose to attend.

This was covered on NBC evening news yesterday. We at the awards banquet heard the boom but had no idea what it was until later. It sounded more like plane noise from the nearby airport.
