    Oil pan for 327/365

The oil pan on my 65 with a 327/365 is leaking from a bad repair by the former owner. I'm looking for help in identifying a suitable replacement until I can properly repair the original pan. The current pan is the proper 6 qt pan. Car is a driver.

A passenger car pan will work. This pan was also used for 1975-79 Corvettes. These pans are readily available either from GM or the aftermarket. The only problem is you will also have to replace the oil pump pick-up and the upper dipstick tube and dipstick. You may be able to get around the tube and dipstick by "re-calibrating" your current dipstick or calibrating a "universal replacement" dipstick.
