At the risk of asking a dumb question: Is the part number not in the AIM?
I know sometimes the parts came to St Louis as an assembly, in which the part number int he AIM will be for the assembly, and will mean nothing. Other times the part number listed int eh AIM is for a PRODUCTION only item and the SERVICE part number will be different.

That dose not mean that 1970'S were the same part#

That is the same part number on mine that is dated 12 69 , was looking for confirmation that this is a good number and that mine was not replaced at some time
