    54 fuel pump pressure

I tested my presure and comes in at 7.5 psi after two bumps. I know the spec is 3-4 psi. Will this cause constant dribble or do I need to install a regulater? Thanks for the advice.

Yes. Anything over 5lbs will over power the needle and seat. I found rebuilding the fuel pump easy. Solved my leaking carb prob. When I tested my rebuilt pump I also had leaky carbs and 7.5lbs.

No. My pump pressure is now 5lbs. Passenger car pumps put out more pressure, I believe the spring is different for a vette. Please verify it's been 8 years since my rebuild.
