Judging question radiator label on 63/ early64

On about Jan they moved a label from the surge tank to the top of the radiator which can cover the date and part no., since the JM states this, how would you judge the date and part number?

    Ed -

If the rest of the radiator appears typical, I'd give the owner the benefit of the doubt.

PLEASE NOTE THE DATE OF THIS OLD DISCUSSION. A member recently inquired again, stating that a label was mentioned by Noland Adams. To give an answer, I went to page 183 of the new 1963-1964 TIM&JG. (7th ed.)

        1. Under Radiator & Mounting, I didn't find anything about a label on the 1963-1964 radiator. (The above discussion implies otherwise, for an older edition.)
        2. Using CDCIF, wouldn't I have a "D" issue to deal with? I mean, if the label covered the date...?

The label typically covers the date, in whole or part. Never got a mention of such! Lots of pictures of such in Noland's book . .
