Mid year head light motor question

Does anyone know of a supplier selling the fiber plate that supports the brushes for a mid year head light motor? Took one of my motors apart to rebuild and discovered broken plate.

To my knowledge there is no one supplying that part. You can try and repair yours, JB Fast Weld?? Or you you can try and find a junk motor!!

Marcs One made a couple for me a few years back, don't know if they sell them, but they rebuilt some motors for me that needed fiber plates and were able to get it done, Marcs One, 304 East Pioneer Street Phoenix, AZ 85040

I believe GM products power window motors can be a donor for that piece. The window motor fits '63-'82. The later motors are permanent magnet motors and have no interchangeability with the earlier style

Thank you to all that responded to my thread! James has offered to let have one of his parts. I truely appreciate all the help and information that this forum has provided over the years.
