    Torpedo light wiring

Can someone help me with the torpedo lights on a 67 air condition roadster? Where does the double gray wire get pluged in at? The wiring schm. Shows all the grays tied into each other but i can't find where the connections goes. Sorry for the write using the phone. Thanks

    John -

That separate "torpedo light" wire plugs into the fuse block, in the cavity marked "ACC. LAMPS", as shown in your Assembly Manual, section C60, sheet E8.

Secondary question. Are the two uppermost knobs on a C60 car backlighted to show through the bezel like the four below it?

        Tom -

Yes, they are - that's why there are the two additional "torpedo" lamps on an A/C car, which shine upwards when they're installed correctly (they are different left and right hand parts); correct installation is shown in View "A" on the A.I.M. sheet I referenced in my earlier post.

          John,
Thanks for the detailed reply. My upper two don't light so when I get home I'll pull out the AIM and pull the glovebox to check them out. Wasn't going to pull the glove box until I found out. Thx.

Tom I reviewed sheet "A" and i'm still confused. They look like they plug straight in like the center one. I'm sure you are correct it only makes sense they would light the upper knobs however it also seems like they will hit the AC ducting.
