Glove box contents for flight judging?

The 1967 judging manual states that the glove box "contains an owners manual, an owner protection plan and warranty book, a small manila envelope that contains the license attachment screws . . ."

What size should the manila envelope be? And should it contain the screws if the plates are already on the car? And should it be beige or white?

If your car was dealer prepped, either the rear or front and rear were used and the envelope was placed in the round file...

I understand, but the real question is how to prepare for flight judging? What size envelope, and what should be in it?

Bob -

If your car has plates on it, you don't need the "license plate attaching parts" envelope; the dealer prep guy used the screws and pitched the envelope.

Guess I'll have to argue that point with the judges. I would have thought that a key envelope, not a screw envelope should have been in the glove box!

I doubt you''ll need to argue the license plate attaching parts envelope issue with an experienced judge. There was no "key envelope" in a '67 - that didn't start until sometime in the C3 era.

That envelope is only good for a C-3 in 1968. 69's and later had the square key style.
