For those of you who have attended previous NCRS Nat'l Conventions, if you had only one day you could attend the 2012 San Diego Nat'l Convention, which day would you recommend?

I was at the Novi, MI Nationals last year. I attended a few of the seminars they had, and by far the best was John Hinckley's historical recounting of the St. Louis assembly plant.

Look at the agenda and see what of the seminars interest you. If none are more compelling than the other, I'd suggest you attend one of the two Flight Judging days. That's when the most activity will be happening on the judging field.

FWIW, only members registered for the Convention can attend any of the functions such as Tech Sessions, seminars, etc.

Day fee guests can only observe the cars even if you are a NCRS member.

this leads right to my question. Can I still register for the convention just to attend Jim Gessner's session? Who would I contact? Been struggling with this. Thanks in advance.

According to the front page of the latest Driveline, all registration now must be onsite in San Diego. Mail registration ended last month.

Reba's correct. You may register on site at the Convention. Reg fee plus late fee.

This will enable you to participate and attend any Events, Tech Sessions and OJ with the Team Leaders concurrence.

Thanks to all the California Chapters for helping everyone who wanted to attend to be able to walk in and ''HAVE FUN'' I met many non car people enjoying a chance to ''just look'' and they all wanted to get information on the club.

Agree with Jim 100%! Thank you to the Board and all other members who encouraged them to allow day visitors to enjoy the cars for free. I also met many people enjoying the cars with big smiles and lots of questions about the organization. I know that at least one of my neighbors who is planning on joining from his experience.
