How rare is 900 450 trim tag 66 smallblock roadster. owned car 35 years bought from first owner who painted it silver. I'm told its very rare and should be returned to black.

Quantity = 1190 Cars in this color, according to the "1953-1967 Corvette Specifications Guide" by John Amgwert. I find no numbers to break down the interior color within the code 900 quantity.

The only more rare color is "unknown paint or primer", quantity = 11 (according to the same source, volume 1.)

All other colors exceed 2000 units, except Trophy Blue, which was quantity 1463. Nassau Blue was most often selected (for good reason, I think) at 6100 units.

Here's a '66 combo that's got to be rare, even though it's listed in the 1966 Interior/Exterior color combination charts as acceptable:

Seen at a Puyallup or Portland swap meet in 1999 (IIRC): Trophy blue convertible with bright blue interior. It looked horrrble !
