    water pump rebuild

Started filling rad with water for 1st start on a '68 350 hp. Noticed water coming from one of the vent holes from the back of the water pump. I assume it needs a rebuild. Anyone know of a good rebuilder as I would like to keep my original casting. Thanks

      Joe,

Here's some numbers I came up with via everyone's best friend, Google:

      Bill Mock 918-333-0748

      Arthur Gould 631-269-0093

Brian, I have been using a local rebuilder in Denver for 30+ years. I am sure that you can find a rebuilder in any large city in your area. I find that my rebuilder is more economical than buying a rebuild from the parts store. He also rebuilds clutches for me. Try your phone book and keep track of the core so you can get it back. I can usually wait for mine. He lets me watch him and asks lots of questions about casting numbers and dates. Build a local relationship. You won't be sorry.
        It's a good life!
