Today was the 40th Birthday for my 1972 Corvette. Since the weather was perfect I took the opportunity to move it out of the back of the barn and take it for a drive. I filled it up with 93 octane and we had a nice 27 mile drive. It still runs and drives as nice as you could ever expect from any 40 year old Corvette. Here is how it looked today...

Why 93 octane fuel? It should run just fine on 87 octane. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Happy 40th Birthday to my 72 Corvette
Patrick,
Your car is lucky to be spending this time in such good hands!
I found the 40th year to be a good one. Most all the parts are still in working order and your about as smart as you're ever going to be. Ah, that's right... that's for people, not cars.
So, just happy birthday to the 'yellow car'!
