    67 427/390 carb instillation

What is the correct order of the gasket and metal baffle plate for my 67 427/390? I don't know why, but I always get confused with the order.

If you don't use a gasket on each side of the metal heat shield, how can you be sure you don't have a vacuum leak?

I use a gasket on each side of the shield.

Bob the thin metal plate is does not seem to cause a vaccum leak the gasket helps conform to the base. And the machined base of carb.is precise. And over torquing the carb. will cause problems.

Not that it matters, but I spelled installation incorrectly. I should use the spell check.
