1. The capacitor (and the black ground wire from the harness) both attach under the same hex screw into the rear side of the regulator base (the screw without anything on it in your photo); SB and BB are the same. Nothing attaches under any of the three regulator attaching screws, which go into rubber well-nuts, and are thus not grounded.
2. You need to re-clock your alternator rear case half - the square hole for the gray plug should be oriented 90* clockwise from the boss on the front case half where the adjusting bolt goes.
