Original pad surfaces develop a nice patina but don't necessarily rust. Most of the heavily rusted surfaces you see have been manipulated to hide something. This patina I am talking about is always present in original pad surfaces. Strip the paint and clean it that's all.- Top

I am with Gerard. Pre-Lube 6 is one of the finest bare metal protectors of corrosion there is. Just put a little on your finger and rub it on and then wipe off the excees."SOLID LIFTERS MATTER"- Top

Great on locks. I use it on my low mileage bicycle chain too. There is always a can of T9 in my trailer. If I have trouble with the electrical plug going into the tow vehicle I spray T9 all over the contacts and it never fails me.
On the fuel injection restorations I use it on the hi-pressure pumps.
I will have to try Pre Lube 6 also. Thanks, JD- Top
