    1989 Fuse Question?

On my 89' driver I have had nothing but trouble since I bought it, I would say that the seller bit me good. Anyway, the fuse labeled "INST LPS" which is on the bottom row in the fuse panel shows that there is never any power going to it. I did replace the fuse twice so I think it's fair to say that the fuse isn't the problem. I really don't want to spend $100-$150 on a factory service manuals to diagnose the problem. I bought one of those el-cheapo' manuals from Auto Zone and it isn't any help. So, I was hoping some of you guys can help me out? I love this body style as it was the car of my generation but I'm getting tired of dealing with the issues. I've had C4's before including a ZR1 but none of them have been this cursed!

You usually can find a FSM (CD) on ebay in the $25-35 range.

Justin - You need to invest in a FSM for your C4. You really can't work on these cars yourself without the manual; there are just too many electrical and computerized components to try to figure it out on your own.

Check with the guys on the Corvette Forum where you may be able to pick up an manual cheap or even an electronic version.
