    '57 Heater Pleneum

Does anyone know whether the "dum-dum/caulk" used around the heater pleneum in the engine compartment was put in before or after the engine compartment blackout was applied......? I'm trying to figure out whether the dum-dum had black-out paint on it or whether it was left un-painted.......

    thanks

    Garry -

The heater plenum and any associated sealers/gaskets were installed well AFTER the Paint Shop blackout operation.
