1962 Courtesy lights

My brother's '62 has the center courtesy light above the radio but also has one just inside the door jam in the kick panels of both sides of the car.
Where these an option to the car or has someone added these?
My new wiring harness seems to have wires for the drivers side but not the passengers side.

Center of dash rectangular courtesy light is original, no other interior courtesy lights in the car.
