Noticed that Corvette Central has listed rear crossmember for 53-57 and 61-62 as one part number and 58-60 another part number. Anyone know the difference? Thanks in advance.

Re: C-1 Rear crossmember
yes... one has extra holes for the rear bumper brackets.. I just bought one last week for my 1960 it is very heavy duty stuff. it comes as raw metal so you will have to clean it with a metal cleaner to remove the machine oil and paint it.

Do you know if the rivets that holds the rear crossmember in place go in from the top or bottom?- Top

Re: C-1 Rear crossmember
Thanks for the picture. I had to drill the holes on each end near the leaf spring brackets. Not sure why the new one didn't come with holes already drilled.- Top
