1960 Turn Signals Don't Work

I was testing all of my lights last night and the turn signals would not blink. I tried a NOS blinker and a modern blinker and no blinking. When I engage the handle left or right, the front and back signal bulbs light up, but no blinking. I have no idea what the problem is. I drove the car on Wednesday and they worked just fine; have worked perfect since I bought the car in 1989.

I planned to have the car judged at local NCRS event on Saturday. Any suggestions?

Do the front and rear lights (parking lights and tail lights) light up when you put your headlights on?

I had a couple of problems. A headlight wire had snapped off at the connector and the Signal-Stat flasher stopped working. I fixed the broken wire and replaced the Signal-Stat with a modern flasher and everything works. I tried to modern flasher twice last night and once this morning and it did not work, but now everything is working; key work "now". In the morning in front of the judges, who knows?
