I'm looking to buy the T-straps used to bundle the vacuum lines at the headlights and above the master for the wiper door lines. Are they the same as mid-year straps? Can someone give me a description, I'm having a hard time identifying and locating them for purchase. Thanks!!

Re: '72 T-straps??
Doc Rebuild has them, and they are the closest you will find to originals. The plastic material is very different on some other repros and aren't worth a dime.
No, he doesn't pay me to say that.

Re: '72 T-straps??
Thanks Patrick. Unfortiunately I have none to compare to but would like to get close. I live near Long Island Corvette and would drive over to look at theirs if they were at least similar. Not knowing what is similar would lead me to buy them. Not sure if a black tie wrap is better than or equal to a bad repro. Hopefully some C2 guy's might chime in. Thanks.- Top

Re: '72 T-straps??
Lynn, I checked the original ties on my 73 and compared them to the repos for my 66 and the originals from my 66 and they all appear to be very similar if not closer. I didn't remove them from my 73 to compare length though. I have repos from Long Island, corvette central, and from Dr. Rebuild. Although the ones I have from the Doc were gotten quite a long time ago,. they are far Superior to the ones from either LI or CC. The Doc's that I have are soft and pliable and don't break like the others do.- Top

Not trying to yank your chain, Lynn - save your gas money and just order them from Connecticut.
I've compared them like Russ has (C3 versions only) and there is no comparison.
