1954 crankcase oil

What are you folks running? I was told to use Rotella T Diesel 15W 40 which has a zink addative due to these flat tappet cams. I guess 10W-30 is just too thin. Thanks for the input

I used an oil high in zinc and added one bottle of additive.
There is not alot of valve spring pressure with the 235's to kill the cam lobes
Do both of those and it will be fine
