63 Convertible Model Shortage
An interesting internal memo at GM about the shortage of 867/convertible models in December 1962 and the first few months of 1963. This would also have been sent to all Chevrolet dealers.
Those of you that keep a running total of known 63 cars may find this interesting as it may explain why there is a lack of 867's in early 1963?

Model shortage - 867 - Corvette convertible
Due to the recent work stoppage, our Corvette schedule was drastically reduced. Therefore, the convertible model allotment has been depleted until the beginning of March production.
