Saggy butt

The '57s orgional leaf springs are flat.
I switched out the spiral shocks with Monroe Sensa-track Gas charged Coilovers.
It raised the butt about 1 1/4 inches http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...R%7CGRPSHOCAMS_____
I now want to replace the leaf springs with new ones . The only repos I have found are non "grooved".
I checked with others about rearch/ repean/retemper my orgionals.
The "re" prosess dosen't last very long
Plus my springs may or may not be canadits for the prosess .
Does any one repo the "grooved " leaf springs I have overlooked ??

Nobody makes grooved repos, but Eaton can redo your springs and they will last as long as you. Check the archives, they are in the Detroit. Just google Eaton Detroit Spring.

Eaton did my 56 springs a few years ago, expensive but no problem so far.

I had my rear springs redone in '86 on my '62. I haven't put a ton of miles on the car, but it certainly hasn't had any noticeable sag since then.

I sent the original spring from my 63 to Eaton spring to have it re arched. They told me there was too much pitting on it to re arch and I ended up buying an eaton replacement spring. It is close to original but not 100% correct however the car now rides much better and the ride height is correct.
