    1966 Corvette 4 speed boot replacement procedure

    Need to replace shifting boot on my 66 4 speed coupe. Need steps to follow possibly with diagram. Have idea what needs to be done, but any help would be useful. Thanks

      See your Assembly Manual, section 1-Asm, sheet E2 - it shows the parts you'll need to remove to replace the shifter boot (radio side panels, center shift console plate). Unscrew the shift knob for clearance to remove the console plate.
