Conv. Top Frame - Original or Repro?

    Hi all,

I am looking for a 56-60 type convertible top frame and see that originals and repros are roughly the same in cost. I generally prefer the original, but was wondering if anyone had any comments on a repro if you have bought one?

    Thanks,

    Bob

      Go original.
The rumor is that the top frames made in Ohio don't fit properly.

Bob, I had to replace the bow above the rear window several years ago. It look fine when I put on the frame, but after the top was installed, the cortour of the new bow was incorrect. I'm still living the nightmare. Go original if you can find a good one
