    Side Flag Emblem in 1962

The current JG for 61/62 goes into great detail to say that the 61 Side Emblem is centered on the middle cove spear then says that the 62 Flag Emblem is located in the same position....I beg to differ that the 62 Flags are located slightly higher than the 61 Emblem location. Can we poll 62 owners to locate the flag location by counting down the number of ribs of the finned vent louver representation to the "V" of the flags...see crude sketch attached.

I'm thinking that the 62 Emblem was moved slightly higher to allow for the addition of the fuel injection bar below the Flag Emblem when applicable.

    Thanks for your responses

Using a straight edge#00029 you can see 9 fins and #10975 you can see 9 fins.

side flag location.jpgThanks so much for your input...Based upon the attached pic, would you agree that this Emblem is located one fin too low ( allowing for the depth difference of the fin lined up with the Emblem )

i'd also have concerns about its fore and aft location. The rear tip of the V should be 3" from the lip of the cove molding inset, and the front tip of the V should be 4" from the edge of the wheel opening.
