'73 Headlamp door Override Switch Location

I think I may have mounted my switch wrong when I found a missing bracket for my headlamp override switch located under the dash directly under the steering wheel.

The bracket is the same used for '70-'72 Corvettes that have a vacuum door and three switches in the three holes of the bracket. On the '73 (is minus the wiper door) and uses only one switch I installed the one switch in the farest hole to the right. Now after some disscussion with fellow members they say the '73 should be in the farest left sided hole in the bracket nearest the headlamp pull switch. Makes good common sense to me, but before I crawl under that tight dark dash to relocate the switch I want to be sure where is does go?

    Which hole of the three..left/center/right?

    Hi Peter,
Would agree, mine is on the Left side.
