L71 Oil Pump Installation

Just got my 1968 L71 Long Block back from the machine shop. They did not install the oil pump. My question, can I just torque the oil pump bolt or should I use a thread locker type material. I don't want it vibrating loose.

Torque to spec and go on down the road.

If it's torqued to spec, it won't vibrate loose. The factory never used any thread locker on these bolts. However, if you wish to use a bit of thread locker, it's not going to hurt anything. Use the blue type, NOT the red, though.
