    C1 wheel - help

I am looking for correct steel wheels for my 1960.

I just found some but they are not Kelsey Hayes...they are NT manufacture.

They are corrrect size 15X5K and have info on inside of wheel..."Made in USA 15x5K N T D 6" and logo. (not sure about offsets?)

They are welded and do not have "dog bone".

    I am assuming NT = mfg, D = April, 6 = 1956.

Question...will these work for my car & if I find (2) more K-H wheels...will they be same configuration.

    Thanks for any help, Dan

How about the profile on the center (spider) area? Does it have the extra ridge? Correct size valve stem hole size? BTW, every original I've ever seen has been a KH. I have no idea how to decode the onesyou found.

      Dan -

Those are Norris Industries wheels (not a supplier to GM); if they don't have the four stamped retaining "nubs" on the rim flange, you won't be able to use your wheel covers.

I have three nice wheels that I think/thought were for one of the solid axle years. They are 5 inch, riveted, have the dog bone, and have the four nubs to hold the hub caps on but I can't find any stampings on them. Can any one tell me from this info what they are?

Riveted, WITH dog bone? Interesting! Passenger car, 55-56, would be my best assessment.

Mike, I was incorrect in saying they had the dog bones. I just learned that what is referred to by the term dog bone is different than what I thought it meant. Russ
