I am curious of how the codes that appear on build sheet relate to the actual part numbers for the specific components, i.e., radiator hoses, starter, belts, etc.

If you're referring to the option codes in the leftmost column on the "Corvette Order" or "Car Shipper" sheet or the window sticker, the last two alpha characters (called the ECL code) only refer to the parts required to build that option when combined with other options, and the part numbers associated with each ECL code are only shown in the Engineering Parts List or Engineering Bill of Material, neither of which have ever been published outside of GM. Can you post a copy of the "build sheet" document you're referencing? That would be a big help in getting you a better answer.
