    c2 Thermostat housing numbers?

1966 L79, I have two thermostat housings, both look the same with the follow written on top of them

    GM
    3827388

One has a B1 and the other has a B2 below the 3827388 number,

which is correct for my car and what does the B1 and B2 signify?

    Thanks

The "B1" and "B2" are pattern ("mold") numbers. The only way to know which was originally used on your car is to have the one originally installed on your car. Basically, it's irrelevant.
