HD brake 1967 (J56 Heavy) added?

Is it possible for someone to add the heavy duty brake option to a 1967 car that is not originally a J56 option car?
I.e., is it feasbile, too hard, or easily detectable that the J56 option was added post factory delivery? Thanks Tony

If someone has the right parts, they can add it without too much trouble. It would be a little more trouble to add it to a car that was originally a manual brake car since the car would have to be converted to power brakes, too. That would be the most difficult part of the conversion. Otherwise, it's pretty much bolt-on.

With all of the exactly correct parts, it would be undetectable. Of course, some of those exactly correct parts are hard to come by and expensive.

      Thanks Joe,
So the next logical question is how does one detect if Power Brakes were added???

My old 64 B/P road race car had been converted to J-56 DISC BRAKE set up in the late 60's. Not hard to do, just need to throw many $$$ at the the project.

The ''RIVITS'' that hold the power booster bracket to the inner firewall is the giveaway as to weather the car was a POWER BRAKE car from the factory. It is one of the close items inspected on 63 Z0-6 cars which were all ''POWER BRAKE'' cars when born.
