I thought it was sold as a '56... by GM to an employee.

No, but John Amgwert, Howard Kirsch and Les Bieri have copies of the Work Order that removed it from under 1953 "003"; it was suppposed to have been destroyed but somehow "walked out" of GM to somewhere.

At one time Brad Hawes from Piney Flats TN supposedly owned the frame.

Well...I think there is a guy on eBay claimed to have this frame and I think he wants $100,000 for it. But why isn't this frame with the car, I think a saw this car once the Corvette Museum, then I thought I saw it sale on Barrett Jackson a year or so ago. Am I right?..often I'm not
